Come In and Satisfy That Hunger!!!

Come on into Soulburger, one of Whangamata’s best casual eating places and recommended by Lonely Planet and trip advisor.  We’re located on the Port Road, the main street in Whangamata, you can’t miss us!

We are open year round, everyday in the summer months and thursday-sunday in the chillier ones.

We are proud to offer our own hand pressed burger patties and vegan patties and create most of our sauces inhouse including our aioli, satay, blue cheese sauce and chipotle mayo.  Even our super secret Soulburger seasoning for our chippies is made inhouse, you gotta try them!

We make it as easy as possible for you to feed your souls whether you call in, take-home or eat with us over a cold beer or some great wines.

Inside or street side dining available, we even have some blankets for you if your brave enough to munch away outside in the winter.

If you have kids, are a herbivore, on a good ole diet or have gluten intolerances, all good, we have options for you too.  And if you want to change stuff around in your burger, no drama, just let us know when you’re ordering.

Owned and operated by Pip (kiwi) and Doug (true blooded american)  we bring our worldly experiences into Soulburger to not just offer super good food but a relaxed, friendly and cruisey beach vibe too. Whanga style.
